About Us:
We are both passionate about baking and creating a wonderful afternoon tea experience.
Beverley has been baking celebration cakes for 40 years and used to run her own cake business until returning to hairdressing.
Sheila holds a Leith’s Cookery School Patisserie Certificate and is a double Chelsea Gold Medal winner in floral design. She has been baking cakes and gateaux for more than 40 years.
Both of us are qualified at Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering and we have attained our 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating from Bromley Council.
We can make your afternoon tea an occasion to remember with our home baked scones and cakes. All you have to do is greet your guests and serve the tea. Our afternoon teas are delivered in Takeaway Boxes or on Platters. Where the order is for 8 or more people, we will set up your luxury afternoon tea using our vintage crockery included in the price and will collect it after your event. You don’t even have to do the washing up – this is all part of the service as our crockery is strictly hand wash only.
Special Occasions:
Why not have a relaxing afternoon with friends over an afternoon tea, or celebrate your birthday, engagement or anniversary with an afternoon tea in your own home? Treat your mother on Mothers’ Day or indulge in tea and cakes for a baby shower or christening.
Funeral refreshments:
We can also arrange refreshments for a funeral. At such a sensitive and sad time, let us take the pressure off you and sort out the refreshment arrangements either in your own home or nominated venue by way of serving a traditional afternoon tea or a more informal buffet style afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones and cakes.
Corporate functions:
What better way to treat hard working staff, or entertain clients than with an afternoon tea. We can make it all the more special by adding optional extras of floral displays and prosecco.
For smaller groups we can provide matching crockery if you prefer, but we do tend to provide mismatched crockery for larger groups.
Delivery
Delivery within an 8 mile radius from Orpington War Memorial is included in the price. Addresses outside this area will incur of delivery charge of 40p per mile.

Allergens
While we might be able to accommodate some special dietary requirements please be aware that all our baking is done in kitchens that handle gluten, nuts and other allergens, therefore we cannot guarantee there would be no trace of these in our food. We also cannot guarantee that ingredients have not come into contact with allergens in the manufacturing process. We can provide you with a full list of ingredients when booking.

I am on my 2nd order as yes there are other similar services out there but none and special and fresh as these superb afternoon teas!
Would not go anywhere else now and it is a beacon of cuddly treats in a bleak rainy winter , it cheers us up no end , truly!! 🙂 x

Every aspect was of the highest quality , from moist well filled sandwiches, to scones with jam and cream & the most amazing cakes which were to die for.
All finished off with Lindor chocolates.????

I had a wonderful afternoon tea delivered last weekend and it made our day , it was so special , better than any we have tried over the lock down , a lot oF care and attention to flavours and freshness and we will be ordering again , the only problem is we may become seriously addicted to these! lol
yet at this time of year when the weather is not great and you are stuck inside for the weekend it is literally like a ray of sunshine delivered in a box! 🙂 🙂 x

Once again mothers day afTernoon tea. Bev & Sheila catered to my nan’s fUssy needs and enjoyed every aingle mouthful. The food as awaya is brilliant and sooooo tastY. These afTernoon teaS are bEtter than you pay £75 for at placea like the Ritz. Honestly. I’ve had theae teas at least twice a year for about 3 yearS now and i can not recommend them higHly enough.

Never fails to impress. I ordered the valeNtines afternoon tEA, and the portions WerE SO GENEROUS. i was allowed to personalise the sandwiches to our preference, we had freshly bakED scones With clotted cream and jAm, each of the three different flavoured cakes were delicioUs. I ordered some cream teas for our monday afternooners group at bromley mencap. They were absolutely delicious and really enjoyed by all. a real treat to have in these difficult times. Everything was delicious from the tasty sandwiches to the melt in your mouth scones and the sumptuous cakes. The chocolate strawberries were amazing too.
My son loved his children’s tea as well and we even have a little left to enjoy tomorrow.
We really liked the idea of it being delivered to our door and hope the option of delivery in a take out box will be available post lockdown as it will be a lovely way to enjoy a relaxed treat in our own home.
